RESEARCH & RESTORATION
at RIVER RIDGE RANCHErosion Repair Video Series
River Ridge Institute, with financial support from the Alta Peak Chapter of the California Native Plant Society, the Tule River Tribal Council, Regenerative Agriculture, and the Strong Foundation, held two Streambed Workshops to train ranchers, government employees and land management influencers on streambed erosion prevention, water quality enhancement, water conservation and water banking.
The workshops were taught by Craig Sponholtz of Water Artisans in 2016, and in 2018 by Neil Bertrando of RT Permaculture. The holistic, natural process-based techniques employed were pioneered by Bill Zeedyk.
